Aida grew up playing a lot of sports, ‘Hockey’ being her favourite. She even represented her team at State Hockey Championships (Maharashtra, India). Obsession with the color ‘Pink’ culminated as she played dress up and turned her hobby into a profession by studying Design & Fashion. As cliched as it sounds, Ms. Arabian learnt business from her father and family values and a strong sense of practicality from her mother. As she entered her teens, she started exploring the fashion scenes all over the world via books, videos, films and internet like any other teenager. She started designing her own clothes and style heavily drawing influence from the big shots of fashion industry namely; Alexander McQueen, Gareth Pugh, Yohji Yamamoto, Vivienne Westwood and more. Her philosophy is strongly based on love, unity and the power to make a statement so bold, so outrageous that it is etched in the viewer’s memory forever.
